My first lecture at NITIE was not so called “lecture in the college”
perhaps it turn out to be “innovative” way of learning and also “self
realization” for me . Prof T Prasad AKA “prof Mandi” entered into the class with
lot of energy and enthusiasm. He was a “man on mission” to give us ideal start
at NITIE. To ease out stress level of students he threw some toys and asked us
to rotate them among us (this really helped though). According to him teaching should not be restricted
to class rooms, it should be available to all those who want to learn. This can
be achieved with the help of technology that we have in present world. He asked
us and encouraged us to share our learning experience by writing blogs. And here
I am writing my first ever blog , thanks to prof Mandi.
He believes in “earn while learn“ philosophy. He gave us a
slogan “aaj ka roti aaj hi kamana “ .
The objective
behind the slogan was to realize us how we can be independent in terms of our
money needs. He also encouraged students to be entrepreneur or to start “Student
Enterprises” (SE). He encouraged students not to be “another brick in the wall”.
He made us
realize we can use our learning for earning.Every year he organises one
marketing event called ”MANDI” in which he teaches :

I am
looking forward to be part of this event.
